- If you don’t have access to the old phone, please contact IT first. By access we mean either you still have it, and it has not been factory reset or anyway else is unavailable.
- You will get a temporary pass, which can be used to log in during the next step.
- On the new phone, start the app and delete the DS-account.
- On a computer log in to: https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo
- Pay attention to the name on the phone that is already connected, as you may need this later.
- Add a new logon method.
- Choose Authenticator-app
- Click Next until it asks you to install the app on the new phone.
- Install the app if you haven’t done already. Remember to grant the app access to everything it asks for.
- Click Next until you get an QR-code.
- In the app, add a work account and scan the QR-code from the screen.
- Click Next on the computer and confirm the test notification on the app and finish the setup.
- Back at the overview you should now have at least 2 phones on the list. Delete the old one, it should be the one you notice in step 2. If you have more than 2 phones, please delete everyone except the new.
